I'm José — an illustrator and graphic designer from Chile.
I help brands and creators bring ideas to life through bold, character-driven visuals inspired by the aesthetics and nostalgia of Japanese animation and video games from the 1980s and 1990s.
I began my career in graphic design, working across branding, editorial design, and desktop publishing in advertising, education, culture, and entertainment. In 2015, I expanded into illustration, developing a personal style that blends graphic clarity with expressive, dynamic characters.
My work explores themes rooted in pop culture, fantasy, and science fiction — often brought to life through strong, charismatic female characters.
I currently work as a freelance creative, collaborating with local and international clients on a wide range of projects.
